What is GBI?
GBI ( Grant for business investment ) is a form of financial assitance to support expansion, modernisation, rationalisation and diversification of businesses.
Eligibility Criteria
A project will be considered if:
- It requries GBI to make it happen
- Without GBI it would only go ahead on a smaller scale or longer timeframe
- Capital expenditure is involved
- It creates new jobs
- The business is viable and becomes self sustaining withing 3 years
- Generates regional and national benefits
